Studio portrait of Marta Sulkhanishvili with her children, arranged around her in a formal family composition. From left to right the children are identified as Aleksandre, Davit, Ivane, and Giorgi. The photograph was taken by Artur, a photographer active in the region during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The image forms part of the Didebulidze family archive and reflects the tradition of studio family portraits documenting family lineage.
