Group photograph of participants of the first expedition to Mount Kazbegi, taken in 1925. The image shows a large team of researchers and assistants gathered with equipment and supplies before departure. Expeditions to the Kazbegi region were an important part of early twentieth-century scientific exploration of the Caucasus Mountains and contributed to the development of geophysical and environmental research in Georgia.
